17yo Korean was 5th in the Aust Masters (ie similar standard field) and 22nd in the LPGA event in Hawaii (which is comparable). On a high after a summer of amateur success, like anything over 80/1.

C Ciganda 0.75pt ew @ 14/1 (VC, Ladbrokes)

Players based largely on the LPGA dominate this event, with 6 of the last 8 winners. Even the two exceptions had small but good experience of the LPGA in the year of their wins. The placed players are often raiders or Euros based in the US too. They also tend to be in good form. Ciganda fits the bill and has done OK on the course as well. Feng is the worthy fav, but a skinny price.

Result: +0.9pt Ciganda second. Lee started well (T5) but couldn't hold on.
