Outright plays (1.5pts):

Cristie Kerr to win 20/1 e.w. @ William Hill
Placing the event the week after the U.S. Women's Open has meant a spate of withdrawals including some of the top players: Grace Park, Rosie Jones, Catriona Matthew and Patricia Meunier-Lebouc. With most books still to adjust their markets to this news, these odds are not expected to last until tee-time. The withdrawals and Pak's swing problems leave Kerr as a contender for tournament favourite even though she is not priced as such. Only Mallon, courtesy of her win last week, from this field heads her in the 2004 Money List and she is the top-ranked player in the field in terms of scoring average. With two wins already this season and finishes of 15th and 5th in the last two years in this event, she should certainly go close to winning at least.

Shi Hyun Ahn to win 28/1 e.w. @ SkyBet
The fact that this event is rotated around different courses each year minimises the handicap that the last two selections face each week and an even better performance might be expected this week. Ahn has settled to life on the LPGA Tour extremely well with four top-5 finishes in twelve starts and ranks 8th on Tour in scoring average. A winner of the Nine Bridges Classic in South Korea last year, this looks a good week to add a second Tour win.

Paula Creamer to win 33/1 e.w. @ Ladbrokes
This has been a whirlwind month for 17-year-old Creamer. Four weeks ago she was playing in the Curtis Cup at Formby Golf Club; the following week she came very close to upstaging Michelle Wie by almost winning an LPGA Tour event before her; and in the last two weeks she has followed that 2nd place finish with two finishes of 13th, including the U.S. Women's Open. That form cannot be ignored and so long as she does not collapse from exhaustion, she will surely put in another very impressive performance this week.
