Webb is finishing off her season nicely with solid performences in the Evian Masters and the British Open. Add to this good current form her record on this course: in 7 attempts here she has had 6 top 20 finishes and one MC. Clearly she feels at home on this course and this qulaity player seems to be building up to a win.

Natalie Gulbis 40/1 each way at Stan James (paying top 4 only)

This price is just too high for someone of Gulbis' class. In fact I thought it might be an error until I noticed Bet365 with her at 33/1. She is in terrific form with a strong last round in the British Open to finish 8th, and then she fought out a terrific finish in Sweden when pipped by a stroke by Anika. That's a strong formline in anyone's books. Given that she is 22/1 in several of the leading books, this does seem a bargain.

Angela Stanford 80/1 each way at GolfingGods

Stanford had been in good form leading into the British Open but failed to make the cut in that event. Nonetheless she must have some confidence after a top 10 in the US Open in June and then a 3rd place finish in the Canadian Women's Open in July. Her course form is solid with 2 top 20 finishes here in the last couple of years, amd she seems value at this price. (NB: She is at 100/1 at a couple of spots but for top 4 finish only. I thought the top 5 option to be more prudent for her)
