Kevin Kisner 1.5pts e/w @ 33/1 Various

I did have Jose de Jesus Rodriguez down as my headline pick this week but to be honest I had hoped for something around 50/1 and found him too short in the low 20s despite his explosive form on the Latin American Tour and his form on El Bosque. Instead I find myself heading up Kisner who won in Chile back in March and who seems to be coming back into form with two top 15s in his last two outings. Not only does his Chile victory show he can play in South American climes but he has also finished 19th at El Bosque in 2010 where he posted a second round 66. He is 32nd in Total Driving (52nd Driving Distance, 58th Driving Average), 5th in Putting Average, 6th in Par Breaking and most importantly 14th in Scoring Average with 69.84. The South Carolinian can hopefully pick up where he left off outside of the States.

Wes Roach 0.5pts e/w @ 100/1 Various

This is 24 year old Roach's second full year on the Web.com Tour and he has started well with only one missed cut in six appearances so far and two top tens including a 5th in Brazil. The fact that his best performance in 2013 came in South America inspires me with confidence despite his missed cut at El Bosque last year. His stats also indicate a player suited to the course as he ranks 2nd in Total Driving (19th in Distance at just over 300 yards and 13th in Driving Accuracy) while also 1st in Par Breaking and 1st in Birdie Average.    

Ryan Spears 0.5pts e/w @ 100/1 Various

Another young player who has put in some decent early performances on the tour is Spears who, despite missing his last two cuts, lays claim to a 5th and 11th. The 11th place actually came in Chile which caught my eye and looking closer at his results we see that he actually finished a respectable 19th in Colombia too which shows that he can certainly play in Middle/South America. In terms of stats, he ranks 45th in Driving Accuracy, 9th in Scoring Average, 6th in Putting Average and 11th in Scrambling. His lack of length off the tee at a 279.8 yard average is a slight worry but I'm confident his scrambling and putting will make up for this.
