A quick look over the Hillcrest Country Club layout and info reveals that the course is played at altitude so I have based my picks on those players who have performed well at other tournaments at altitude so far this year, namely the Chile Classic and Mexico Championship.
Adam Hadwin - 1pt e/w @ 33/1 - One player who has not only been highly consistent all year but also managed to record a win in Chile and a 3rd in Mexico. He comes here on the back of a 7th at the Nova Scotia Open after a final round 65 and is Mr consistent. Carlos Ortiz - 1pt e/w @ 50/1 - The Web.com money leader and probably the most impressive player on tour this year. His form has suffered slightly since he appeared at the Memorial Tournament on the PGA (where he made the cut) but showed signs of regaining form last week in Utah where three solid rounds were spoiled by a final round 71. Ortiz missed the cut in Chile but did manage to dominate the Mexico Championship on his way to winning it so is definitely worth siding with under inflated odds. Peter Tomasulo - 0.5pts e/w @ 80/1- Im siding with Tomasulo not because of his form (which is actually pretty consistent without being outstanding with six top 20s so far this year)but because of his superb course form. In seven outings on Hillcrest he has only missed the cut once, in 26 rounds he has only shot 9 rounds of 70 or over and can boast a low round of 63.
