Andrew Putnam - 1pt e/w @ 28/1 -I am backing him again this week, partly through stubborness but mainly due to the fact that the last winner of this event back in 2012, Alex Aragon, was also a winner at the WNB Classic, the same event that Putnam won this year. After a small dip in form he came back with a 4th in the Boise Open and finished last week's midwest Classic 24th with four solid rounds of 69. Rob Oppenhiem - 0.5pts e/w @ 100/1 - This is a pick based upon previous course form and Oppenheim has the best of those playing this week with a 14th, 12th and most recently, 4th placed finish here. His form so far this year has been fairly erractic with substantially more missed cuts than decent finishes but he has managed a 4th in the South Georgia Classic and 13th in the Air Capital Classic. Matthew Goggin - 0.5pts e/w @ 125/1 - Ladbrokes seem to price Goggin twice that of the other bookies and I feel we should take advantage. He finished 4th here on his only visit to the course back in 2011 in a shortened three round version but carded all rounds in the 60s. His form is mixed over the year so far with a number of missed cuts (two coming into this) and a few average finishes but what stands out is his 4th at the WNB Classic. As mentioned above, 2012 winner Aragon also won there and i am taking the change on Goggin replicating that early season performance here.
