Hillcrest Country Club has hosted this event since  its inception in 1990. It is a Par 71, 6,800 yard birdie-fest of a course where the winning score for the last three years has been no worse than -22. Based on this simple fact, Scoring Average is going to be a key stat to follow this week as is Par Breaking and any birdie based ranking.

My picks are as follows:

Jamie Lovemark - 1pt e/w @ 25/1 - Again Coral seem to not fancy the chances of one of the most in form players on the Web.com tour and have gone 25/1 about his chances. We all know what Lovemark did at the US Open where he finished 18th and looked free from injury and back to his best but since then he managed to finish 10th in Novia Scotia so he will love coming back to Hillcrest where in three apearances he has finished no worse than 15th. He ranks 9th in Total Birdies, 16th in Par Breakers, 18th in Birdie Average and 16th in Birdie or Better Conversion % so has the game to match the course form. Its a bold call but I struggle not seeing him featuring at the top of the leaderboard come Sunday. 

Lucas Lee 0.5pts e/w @ 50/1 - Young Brazilian Lee has arrived on the Web.com with a bang, recording two runner up finishes in just 7 appearances. He withdrew from the Nova Scotia Open last week but comes here fresh and is well backed by a number of stats - 3rd in Scoring Average, 1st in Birdie Average and 1st in Par Breaking. He has also played Hillcrest before, finishing an impressive 17th back in 2009 while still at college. Now a better and more experienced player, I would expect him to challenge this week.

Chase Wright - 0.25pts e/w @ 100/1 - Wright has has a sporadic time this year, mixing top 10s and 20s with missed cuts, his most recently coming the other week at the Air Capital Classic. Not making the weekend probably helped us in getting a decent price for a player who finished fourth here last year. He fits the brief in terms of stats too, 7th in Birdie Average, 20th in Scoring Average, 12th in Total Birdies, 5th in Par Breaking and 5th in Birdie or Better %.
