After a few weeks off the Web.com Tour resumes in Colombia and with a new event to the tour, the Cartagena de Indias at Karibana Championship. The tournament will be played at TPC Cartagena, which was designed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus and opened for play in 2014. It is the second licensed TPC course in Latin America, joining the TPC Cancun in Mexico. The front nine holes are engulfed by a thick natural forest and also feature six man-made lakes, while the back nine offers extensive ocean views and very much a links feel.
Steve Marino - 1 pt e/w @ 40/1 - No doubt in his quality as he makes a return from a serious injury. He was runner up in Colombia last time out and has the ability to go one further. Henrik Norlander - 0.25pts e/w @ 100/1 - A very talented college golfer and a player who should be back on the PGA Tour. Was 5th in Panama and a MC in Colombia last time out is the only reason I can see for his triple figure price. Curtis Thompson - 0.25pts e/w @ 140/1 - Finished a credible 6th in Panama before missing the cut in Colombia, at this price he just looks too big. Roberto Diaz - 0.25pts e/w @ 125/1 - Was 6th in his last outing, also in Colombia and showed his best form early on in the season last year.
Total Staked - 3.5pts |
