The fourth installment of the United Leasing Championship arrives in Indiana and the Victoria National Golf Club. The course is exceptionally tough, with winning scores rarely in double digits and a scoring average well over its par 72 value so focus on those with good Scoring Averages over the season so far. The rough is thick and is 'a blend of four bluegrass varieties' that are 'maintained in  their natural states', meaning that the rough will feel softer and faster than most players are used to should it be found. The greens are also playing fast and make putting tricky so Bogey Avoidance should be follwed when selecting a player. Holes 17 and 18 are a pair of tough Par 4s that continuously force bogeys so it might be worth siding with a player who ranks highly in Par 4 Birdies or Better.

My picks are as follows.

Greg Eason - 1pt e/w @ 80/1 - I really like the young Brit's chances this week as he seems to tick all the boxes statistically to succeed around this course. He is 9th in Scoring Average with 69.5, 8th in Putting Average, 5th in Birdie Average, 7th in Par 4 Birdie or Better Leaders and has converted 25% of all Birdie chances. He has had a mixed bag of a season with two top 10s (Chile - 5th and Colombia - 6th), two MCs and three avaerage finishes but he looks like a great young player who is ready to break out and win soon.

Mark Hubbard - 1pt e/w @ 80/1 - Hubbard is simply the wrong price at 80s in my eyes. He is an established PGA tour player now who is still grinding out respectable results without dazzling as his 9/14 cuts made on the PGA tour shows. He has course form here too, finishing 2nd last year, his highest finish on the Web.com.

More to follow just didnt want to miss these prices....

30/04 continuation of bets

Wes Roach - 1pt e/w @ 28/1 - I am going with Roach again this week as I think he is playing some great golf and has the game to tame the Victoria National. He is 3rd in Putting Average, 16th in Birdie Average, 10th in Par Breaking, 3rd in Par 4 Performance, 8th in Par 4 Bidies and 1st in both Ball Striking and All Round stats. He comes here on the back of a win in Mexico and can boast some course form with a 20th in 2013.

Andrew Landry - 0.5pts e/w @ 55/1 - I did contemplate going with Charlie Wi who was the same price but ultimately I think that with Landry being the young prospect that he is, he was worth siding with. He has no course form to speak of but seems to fit the mould with stats that read: Putting Average 11th, Birdie Average 22nd, Scoring Average 8th, All Around Ranking 5th, Total Birdies 5th and Par 4 Performance 7th. He sits 4th on the money list and already has a win this year in Colombia.

Total Staked - 7pts
