The Digital Ally Open is played on the  Nicklaus GC at LionsGate in Overland Park, Kansas. The course is a Par 71, plays to just over 7,200 yards and typically yields a large number of birdies as proved by the winning scores of a number of previous tournaments over the years -19, -18, -17, -26 and -20 to list just a few. Looking at these scores, it is evident that Birdie and Scoring Average will be the stats to focus on most this week. I will also be looking over past tournaments played to Par 71s such as the Brasil Champions, Chile Classic and Albertson Boise that have yielded low final scores and selecting players who have performed well in these events. It is also worth noting that the winners here are typically strong players who go on to perform well on the PGA Tour.

My picks are as follows:

Andrew Landry - 1pt e/w @ 28/1 - Arguably the form golfer of 2017 with one victory on the Web.com already and no less than six top 10s. He is 8th in Birdie Average and 4th in Scoring Average so should fit this course well. He was 35th on this course back in 2015 which doesnt highlight the fact that he shot 65 in both of his first two rounds. He is a much better player now, ready for the step up in grade.

Andrew Yun - 0.5pts e/w @ 50/1 - A T4th here last year doesnt tell the full story, he pushed the three players in the playoff down to the wire with a fantastic 65 on the final day. this year he comes here having already secured his PGA Tour card for next year and is playing some great golf.

Rafael Campos - 0.25pts e/w @ 80/1- The MC here last year doesnt worry me as Campos had an injury plagued season in 2016. The slightly concerning element is his MC and withdrawal in his last two outings. However, at 80s I am prepared to risk it for a player who sits 1st in Birdie Average and 2nd in scoring Average. He has two top 10s on the PGA Tour this year and looks as though he could be the real deal.

Total Staked - 3.5pts
