And so the Web.com Tour Finals begin this week and a number of players drop from the PGA Tour to try and secure their card for next year. Ohio State University Golf Club is the host course and it is one of the most challanging tracks on the circuit and fitting for the beginning of the finals. The course is a long 7,455 yards and has been used for the last ten years so there is plenty of course form and to me, the most prevailing attributes appear to be accuracy and power given the parkland course design.

My picks are as follows:

Hunter Mahan - 0.5pts e/w @ 90/1 - I picked Mahan here last year and he finished a respectable 13th despite being in worse form than he is now. He sits 29th on the PGA Tour for Ball Striking and with the Ryder Cup fast approaching he must have fond memories of playing decent golf (longshot link I know!). I feel he could perform this week.

Robert Garrigus - 0.5pts e/w @ 80/1 - A solid PGA Tour player who has an unspectacular season but can certainly hit a ball and find greens. He finished 9th here back in 2015 and will be keen to show what he can do as he looked liked he was beginning to find form again back in July.

Corey Conners - 0.5pts e/w @ 70/1 - Conners ranks 10th on the main tour for Ball Striking, a key attribute this week, he is also 19th in GIR and can hit the ball over 300 yards. He has played the course before, finishing 13th last year and at the Wyndham last week he opened with a 65.   

Chase Seiffert - 0.25pts e/w @ 150/1 - All aboard the Seiffert wagon - he could be a surprise here. He Monday qualified for the 2018 Travelers Championship and finished 9th which gave him enough points to play this week and the former Florida amateur triple crown owner will want to sieze his chance of making the main tour.
