Its the final week of the regular Web.com season and the last week for players to try and wrap up their automatic PGA Tour card. Equally there will be payers looking to creep into the top 75 for the chacne of playing the Web.com Finals and also making the Tour.

Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club is again the host of the Portland Open and it is a course that has typically produced winning scores of mid teens to -20. It is a course that also demands accuracy and creativity so this week we will be looking for players who score well, strike the ball well and have it all to play for.

My picks are as follows:

Carlos Ortiz - 1pt e/w @ 28/1 - A winner here back in 2014, Ortiz shot a final round 63 last week to finish 14th and propell himself to 18th on the Money List. He also finished 14th here last year when out of sorts so coming into this a respectable 25th in GIR, 8th in Scoring Average and 5th in the All Around Ranking can only bode well.

Josh Teater - 1pt e/w @ 40/1 - Unlucky to have been runner up last week, I was surprised to find 40s about Teater given he was 8th here last year. He is the third best Ball Striker on tour this year and is 2nd in GIR, not to mention boasting a Scoring Average of 69.83.

Ben Kohles - 0.5pts e/w @ 80/1 - Four missed cuts in his last five appearances dont reek of a player ready to win but Kohles has been hitting the ball really well and is currently 1st in GIR on the tour as well as being a solid 20th in Scoring Average. He has four top 10s this year and sits 45th on the Money List, a win could get him in the top 25.
