Player Dashboard

Select the players to compare using the two drop-downs at the top of the dashboard. The lists of players are drawn from the entry list from this week's event.

There are four sections to the dashboard above:

    12 Month Average Stats:

In the left pane, z-scores are presented for the player's 12-month average performance in the five main traditional stats - driving distance (DD), driving accuracy (DA), greens in regulation (GIR), scrambling (SC) and putting average (PA). A z-score meaures how many standard deviations the player's average is from the Tour average. By definition, the Tour average will be a z-score of zero with positive (green) values indicating that the player performs better than the Tour average in that statistic and negative (red) values indicating performance worse than the Tour average.

The right pane contains the player's 12-month average performance in the five main strokes gained stats - strokes gained: tee-to-green (SG:T2G), strokes gained: off-the-tee (SG:Tee), strokes gained: approach-the-green (SG:App), strokes gained: around-the-green (SG:ATG) and strokes gained: putting (SG:P). As with the z-scores in the left pane, the Tour average should be zero, with positive (green) values indicating that the player performs better than the Tour average in that statistic and negative (red) values indicating performance worse than the Tour average.

    12 Month Strokes Gained Performance:

This bar chart displayed the average strokes gained: total per round in each event played over the last 12 months. As in the first section, positive strokes gained are highlighted in green, negative strokes gained are highlighted in red. By taking average strokes gained per event, it is easy to see if a player is in an upward or downward trajectory of form. Move the cursor over a bar to identify the event played. Whilst the default date range is 12 months, you can use the calendar windows to change the date range.

    12 Month Tournament Results:

This table provides fuller detail on performance over the last months, detailing tournament name, finishing position and round scores. Selecting a tournament name will also highlight that event within the bar chart above.

    Event/Course History:

This table presents details on the player's past performance in this week's event and this week's course. You can switch between event and course history by click on the 'Course' and 'Event' buttons. This is particularly relevant in events where (i) different courses are used each year, or (ii) the name of the event changes on a regular basis.
