Bank of America Colonial

Outright plays (1 unit):

Jim Furyk to win 14/1 e.w. @ Bet365, Sportingbet, Sporting Odds, UKBetting and BetDirect
Very consistent form and has finished in the top-10 in three of last six years. Is due a win.

Scott Verplank to win 22/1 e.w. @ Sportingbet, Sporting Odds and Victor Chandler  (23/1 Five Dimes with 1/5 1-2-3-4-5)
Impressive bounce-back last week after collapsing from lead in New Orleans. Solid course form and should improve on it given his current form.

Bob Estes to win 28/1 e.w. @ BetInternet, Stan James and Five Dimes
Also very consistent this year and did finish in the top-10 in 1999 and 2000. Completes a trio of players who have come very close to winning this year.

Mid-point update:

Furyk 3rd
Verplank 29th
Estes mc

The Sorenstam adventure is over and it was fun while it lasted. Didn't manage to get the 'make cut' prop, but she showed that she was good enough to play over the weekend and it was only some inexperience with PGA Tour-type greens that prevented full advantage to be made of a ridiculous line. Elsewhere gave back a lot of yesterday's gains, but Furyk should fancy his chances with the look of the leaderboard.

3rd round play (1 unit):

Scott Verplank to beat Stewart Cink -130 @ Moneyplays

3rd round update: 0-1-0; -1.30 units

Verplank/Cink LOST by 5

4th round play (1 unit):

Bob Tway to beat Woody Austin -103 @ Five Dimes

Adding (1 unit):

Scott Verplank to beat Chad Campbell -115 @ Sirbet

4th round update: 1-1-0; -0.15 units

Final update:

18-holes: 6-5-0; -1.20 units

Outrights: 1-2; -1.94 units

Furyk 5th
Verplank 62nd

Furyk managed to get a share of 5th place with three others to just about cover the stake, but little else went was profitable in this event except Annika. Without the Sorenstam plays, this would have been a very sorry effort.
