Deutsche Bank Championship
Tournament Trades (Andy) Finishing Positions
(0.5pt stakes) (+9.5 pts)
Far better week on this Tour due mainly to Maruyama showing up well all
week and finishing inside the top 10. Sell Shigeki Maruyama at 33 with
Cantor Sports
M/U 6.5, Profit 13.25 pts
All the reasons for "Smiler" have been put better than I can by both
Shaker and Stanley on other pages. For a man with a consistent record,
33 is high and must be traded. He has already beaten this mark 11 times
this year in 20 events. Sell Ben Crane at 37 with Cantor Sports
M/U 50, Loss 6.5 pts
Crane has covered this price in his last 4 events and it is an upturn in
form as he struggled thru the early months of the year. Two events ago
he was Top 10 in the final major of the year and anything resembling
that form will see a good return from this week. Sell
Jesper Parnevik at 37 with Cantor Sports
M/U 31.5, Profit 2.75 pts
Jesper has been poor now for some time, but in the last few weeks there
have been signs of him getting into contention again. Along with a M/C
at the PGA, Jesper has had 3 Top 20's in Ireland, Sweden and at the NEC
WGC event. None of the three picks this week have any form from the one
event here so far in 2003 but the course set up has been changed
sufficiently to make last years form unimportant.
