Tour Championship Finishing
Position Trades (Andy)
Summary: No win
no loss on the week, but with Singh pulling back a 11 stroke deficit on
Sunday it feels like a loss. Perry was just rotten all week. Sell Kenny Perry @ 16 with
Spreadex for 0.5 pts
MU 29, Loss 6.5pts
Final event of the season and in an event with 31 players and a
1.5pt spread, FP quotes are usually about right. Arguably though Perry
is a couple of point high here. The 2004 Perry is nowhere near the force
of the 2003 version but Top 20 in Canada last month and 8th last week in
Tampa in his only two events played in the last 10 weeks suggest he is
fresh and in form.
Sell Vijay Singh over Tiger Woods 72H MB @ 2.5
with Spreadex for 1 pt
MU -4, Profit 6.5pts
Last bet of the US season and probably the best example of Spread
Betting and how we are trying to bet on prices rather then reputation.
Yes, VJ has form, both current and course, yes, he is the new #1 and is
playing at a level that is a step up from the rest. But, the bookies
know this and expect more people to buy this bet so price it
accordingly. Vijay may beat Woods this week but he is not value to do so
giving Tiger 2.5 of a start. I would not put anyone off also doing the
same bet and price over Els but we will only trade one bet here and this
bet is slightly better price-wise. |
