Betfair Picks - PGA Tour

Tipster: Chris

Odds: Betfair

Bay Hill Invitational

Nice one Kenny! - looked a bit hairy towards the end, but an uncharacteristic VJ slip did us a big favour. Zach almost managed a place too (while the less said about Hoch and Pettersson the better).
FINAL TOTAL: +36.22pts

Update after round 3:

Perry's tee to green play has been imperious, so much so that he's had the luxury of 30 putts in each round and still holds a 3 shot lead going in to the final round.
Obviously a very strong position to be in, and Perry is a player who I think can be trusted to get the job done - the worry is of course the looming presence of Vijay Singh.
I am confident Perry will go on to win here, but still feel it is prudent to guarantee some profit.

HEDGING PLAY: LAY Kenny Perry 8pts @2.16 at Betfair -- matched
IN RUNNING SPECULATIVE HEDGE: LAY Kenny Perry 10pts @1.5 at Betfair -- matched

Update:
Back Zach Johnson to finish in the top 5 1pt @13.5 at SuperOdds/CenterBet
Just adding a bit of security here with a place only addition to the Betfair back.

-------
Back Zach Johnson 2pts@60 at Betfair -- update: Gaming Club have 66/1
A player I've backed many times in recent weeks and have to do so again here even if the price isn't as big as it was before his 3rd place at Doral. As I mentioned then he has been in reasonable form all season and could just be about to peak. He went well here last year and has an impressive Florida record.

Back Kenny Perry 0.5pts e/w @100/1 at Ladbrokes -- update: Ladbrokes price now gone but Gaming Club are at 100/1
Another who has gone well here in the past and in Florida generally. He is also a proven winner which is important in a field of this strength.

Back Scott Hoch without Woods, Els and Singh 0.25pts e/w @150/1 at GolfingGods
Back Carl Pettersson without Woods, Els and Singh 0.25pts e/w @125/1 at GolfingGods
Looking to the without the favs market for a couple of outsiders. Hoch is very speculative as he makes his comeback from injury, but he did get a full 4 rounds in at Doral and has gone well here in the past. Backing Pettersson again despite a disappointing effort last week when he never really got going around Mirasol. With this bet an 8th place finish could be good enough to get a return.
