Geoff Ogilvy to beat Stuart Appleby                        -110 @ Available generally

Appleby's performance last week was very disappointing. After a very encouraging first 27 holes where he was sitting nicely on 8 under he subsequently hit 11 bogeys and 11 birdies. Ogilvy's form is coming together nicely after a break. Has excellent birdie stats compared to Appleby and easily outscores Appleby on recent h2h's (3 months: 4-0-0, 12 months: 10-5-1). Ogilvy's last 2 appearances in this event have netted him a 9th and 10th place finish.

Vaughan Taylor to beat Olin Browne                       -110 @ Intertops

Both players are in decent form but Browne's form in this event is woeful (mc-mc-47-36-66) while Taylor finished 10th here last year. Taylor is in the top 20 for birdie stats, Browne is outside the top 100. Taylor also won the Reno-Tahoe Open this year for the second successive year, a course which measures in excess of 7,500 yards. Taylor currently sits 36th on the Money List so we be looking for a decent finish here to secure his place in the Tour Championship (Browne is already comfortably in the top 30).

Bart Bryant to beat Bob Estes                                  -110 @ Stan James

Last week we were looking for any sort of reasonable display by Estes to win his matchup. Instead we got a

horrible display of putting (1.857 putts per GIR in round 1!!!!!) so I'm willing to take him on this time in such a

similar event. Bryant put in a very good showing last week to finish 16th (T4th for DA, T6th for GIR, and a driving distance of 309yds (!!) in round 4). He also has decent form in this event (16-24-40) and the better birdie stats.

Tim Clark to beat Chris DiMarco                                +110 @ William Hill, Paddy Power

Can't see why DiMarco should be the favourite for this matchup. Clark has the far better recent form (3 months: 2-0-0, 12 months: 8-3-3) and has excellent course form (6-24-6). Neither player is particularly long off the tee but Clark is in the top 10 in birdie stats while DiMarco is languishing around 60th.

Vijay Singh to beat Retief Goosen (Stake 3.5pts)  -137 @ Stan James

Singh is in steady form with finishes of 6-13-7 while Goosen hasn't played for over a month now. In the last 5

years Goosen has played this course once and finished 18th, Singh's record is 2-1-6-18. In addition, Singh has

won the Shell Houston Open and the Wachovia Championship, both on very long courses. Despite the short price,

Singh really should be much shorter than this and around -150 is a more realistic price.
