Finishing Positions (0.5 pt Stakes)

Final Summary: Recently, we have had most of our success from in running bets but this week it turned full circle with the majority of those played in running over the two tours giving a loss. Loss 8.18 Pts

Round Three (Summary: Not a great day, at current prices we are looking at a break even week)

Pre Round Two Trades (Summary: Price still hovers around the Top 10, Haas is in for the weekend but needs to up his scoring to get us a result and finally Love played poorly yesterday but scored well to be in the Top 10. No bets for R3 as all the prices seem about right)

Buy Davis Love at 18 with IG Sport M/U 3.5, Loss 7.25 Pts
This price just seems a wee bit low and is probably based on Love's record round this course. His negatives are the fact that he has thrown in a few bad rounds this year and even the most ardent Love fan would admit his better days have probably gone. Sporting go 17-20 and I would be inclined to say that is even bordering on value but IG's 18 makes the bet a necessity purely on value terms. Love is -2 after R1 which is Tied 10th but there is a gridlock of players from -2 down to +2 covering nearly 80 players and on that info the upside of the price outweighs the down.

Pre Round One Trades (Summary: Price is Top 10 and Haas just inside the Top 50 so not too bad, hopefully some prices will appeal for R2)

Sell Jay Haas at 33.5 with Cantor Spreadfair M/U 50, Loss 8.25 Pts
Two old fashioned golfers for an old fashioned event. Current form for Haas is ok without being spectacular but he hasn't missed a cut this year and this is an event with only 132 starters. 8 Top 10's in 04 hasn't been reciprocated so far in 05' but his course form is ok with one top 10 (last year) and 3 other results beating this weeks quote in 6 visits in the last 9 years.

Sell Nick Price at 34.9 with Cantor Spreadfair M/U 19.5, Profit 7.32 Pts
Price has played here every year and since 1996 he has a FP average of around the mid 20's with a win, two further top 10's and no missed cuts in that time. In 05' he has not shown any great form so far but this is arguably, bar Augusta, the course most suited to his game of the course set ups he has faced so far. He shot 78/76 at Augusta and this maybe explains the quote but I feel it is 3 points too high.
