The h2h's show a 19-15 lead to Waldorf over the past 3 years, although over the past 12 months there is nothing to split them. There is a big difference

looking at the h2h stats over this course with Waldorf leading 3-0. This course favours either good GIR/putting stats (there are a number of undulating and

two-tiered greens) or good scramblers (although the greens are of average size the standard of player in this tournament is generally poorer than normal,

hence poorer GIR figures, and there are also a number of greenside bunkers). Although neither player has particularly good scrambling stats there is a marked

difference when looking at GIR/putting. Waldorf is a vary accurate iron player and a decent putter while Mediate has decent GIR stats and is a poor putter.

Waldorf has not shown much of late but he has now had a month rest and back on a course that suits him he has a great chance of landing the odds.
