Due to time
constraints from an increasing number of outright markets to cover each
week, I will no longer be offering matchup plays for the PGA and
European Tours. Chris will now become the PGA Tour specialist on the
site and will provide both Betfair and matchup tips for this Tour from now on. Stanley.
Chrysler Classic of Tucson
FINAL RESULT: +0.49pts
Magee and Smith had won by Friday night, unfortunately Baddeley made an excellent comeback to a poor first round to beat Rose who missed the cut and just edge out Sutherland by one stroke.
Andrew Magee to beat Hunter Mahan 3pts @-110 at BetFred
There is a fair amount of hype surrounding Mahan which is based around a great run of form he had in August/September last year. Looking outside that period his performances have been distictly average though. Magee on the other hand is in a great run of form right now and I expect him him to be at the top of the leaderboard challenging for this one, which isn't to say Mahan won't be, but I see the latter as the more likely of the two to put in a disappointing performance.
Justin Rose to beat Aaron Baddelely 1.5pts @-111 at GolfingGods
Kevin Sutherland to beat Aaron Baddeley 1.5pts @-123 at Expekt
If there is hype surrounding Mahan now then there was mass hysteria surround Baddelely not so long ago which really seemed to affect his game to the point where he might never get it back. A mini-resurgence in form and suddenly the hysteria seems to have returned. Well I amn't buying it!
Rose and Sutherland are by far the better players, have shown just as much form as Baddelely so far this season and compare favourably in head to head stats for last season.
Chris Smith to beat Hank Kuehne 1pt @-115 at Five Dimes
Smith edges out Kuehne in the head to head stats and has an impressive record round here, while Kuehne has never played here before.
