Spread Picks - PGA Tour

Tipster: Andy

Odds: Spreads

U.S. Bank Championship

Bets:  2 Wins: 1   Losses: 1   Profit/Loss = +0.85 Pts. With weather delays, there will be no further bets as I am off on holiday late Friday night. The state of play at the moment is that Perry is 2nd and Hayes tied 37th. Perry is quite open about the fact that his sleep pattern is all mixed up coming back from Scotland and therefore our bet still has a live chance as he could suffer playing golf all weekend. We could do with a poor R2 from Hayes to miss the cut which will effectively make Perry a free bet this week.

Pre Round One Trades

Buy Kenny Perry FP at 18.5 with Cantor Spreadfair  M/U 11, Loss 3.75 Pts
3rd, 5th, 4th, 1st, 7th is Perry's record round this course but runs are made to be broken and having come back from St Andrews it wouldn't take a great deal for this bet to be a winner this week. Scoring is low here and it just takes a cold putter to drop down the field and that can happen to anyone. Perry should be 20 or 21 as he is elsewhere so the exchange price is value.

Buy JP Hayes FP at 35.3 with Cantor Spreadfair  M/U 44.5, Profit 4.6 Pts
Hayes had a run of top 5's a few years back and followed up in 03' with a 20th place but that ended last year with a missed cut. With a 2nd place last week in the poor quality BC Open he will be the talking horse this week and is being priced as such. If you look back further he has played very poorly here in the past, and is 50%+ on missed cuts since last year here so considering this he would be late 30's, early 40's anywhere else but here, we have to take this price as value.
