K.J. Choi to beat Scott Verplank -110 @ BetInternet
It's hard to gauge how Verplank will treat this event given the Ryder Cup on the horizon. But his
current form is very poor for a player of his quality while Choi has had some fine finishes in recent
weeks. Both played here in 2004 with Choi finishing 7th and Verplank missing the cut, the only time
he did this in the 2004 season. Given the length of the course it's hardly a course that will favour
Verplanks game and there is every likelihood that he will use this to fine-tune his game in preparation
for the K Club.

Chris DiMarco to beat Robert Allenby +110 @ Pinnacle
DiMarco is a very different player to Verplank. He is highly passionate and his drive to make the
Ryder Cup team, despite playing horribly for the most part of the season, has been remarkable.
He played here in 2004 prior to the Ryder Cup and finished 3rd and that coupled with a 10th place
finish in2003 and a 5th place finish last year results in a h2h record on this course of 3-0 over Allenby.
Both players are in fine form but the course ofrm and the extra drive sways me in favour of DiMarco,
especially at these odds. Craig Barlow to beat Nathan Green -102 @ Expekt
Little to separate these players on current form (see Stanley's write up on Barlow for more info), but
where Barlow has twice had decent finishes here, Green has never played the course before. Green
however is very short off the tee, almost the shortest in the field, and his most valued asset is his
excellent short game. Not something that advertises his chances here. The odds are the wrong way
round here and Barlow should be the player at -120.
