Billy Mayfair to beat Olin Browne                     -110 @ Expekt

There exisits a clear gulf in class here as shown by the h2h stats with Mayfair leading 39-29-2 over 3 years and 12-7-1 over the last 12 months. Over the years the majority of these victories have taken place at the beginning of the season

where Browne generally has a very poor record. Mayfair's record in this tournament isn't exactly sparkling but his average

FP is over 13 places better than Browne in this event. Mayfair had a supremely consistent 2005 and carried that

forward to the Sony Open last week. Very decent odds considering the class difference.

Robert Gamez to beat Olin Browne                 -110 @ BetInternet

I'm usually reluctant to have multiple plays against the same player but Gamez's form this year makes it hard to resist.  Gamez also outclasses Browne in the h2h stats (3 years: 43-21-5, 12 months: 11-9-2) and coupled with his strong

start to the season he should continue that dominance. Despite being short off the tee (in a similar fashion to Browne)

he is a very aggressive iron player which should lead to the necessary birdies to add to this h2h superiority.

Rod Pampling to beat Carl Pettersson            -102 @ Expekt

Pampling is generally in a different class to Pettersson and the price here assumes that Pettersson can continue with

his fine form. But considering Pampling's excellent record it's easy to see how even that may not be good enough.

Pampling has finishes of 21-21-09 in his three appearances in this tournament (of added value with it being a Pro-AM

format event), dominates that h2h's and his appearances in his homeland showed he is in fine form. Pettersson's best

finish is a 50th place in 2004 and this looks a good value bet.
