Buy Steve Stricker FP at 32 with IG Sport for 0.6 Pts.  M/U 3.5, Loss 17.1 Pts
Opposing a player who has contended in a major the previous week is usually a sound policy. To oppose one who has a 60% record in maximum FP M/U's since the start of 2005 and who has only beaten 50th on the course once in five attempts since 2000, at a price as low as 32, makes the bet even more appealing. Stricker is possibly 32 due to a big week of course last week, but also the fact that this performance wasn't a flash in the pan. A 3rd and two further Top 30's in his last 4 events has him in better form than he has been for some time but that is more than reflected in the quote. Admittedly this is a poor event but it is still a full field and Stricker is no better than the vast majority of his opponents.

Buy Brett Wetterich FP at 42 with
Sporting Index for 0.6 Pts M/U 55, Profit 7.8 Pts
Favouring Sporting Index here as the value is in the 42 price rather than 35 on the 50 max: system. Wetterich has missed 2 cuts of 2
here and current form is full of top 5's and missed cuts. It seems with Wetterich its all or nothing. A 6th, 4th, win and 2nd in his last 7 events are accompanied by three cut misses and with that information, 42 seems worthy of the extra risk involved.

Round One Trades

Buy Steve Flesch over Craig Parry at 4 with Sporting Index for 0.3 Pts M/U 16, Profit 3.6 Pts
Only one contestable price in the Booz Allen 2 balls and it is this one. Flesch leads Parry 6-1 in R1 scoring in 06', 12-5 in all rounds and 5-2 in Tournaments whereas in 05' they were much closer. This maybe suggests that Parry is being overtaken by the younger players on tour now and certainly his 06' record doesn't read well. Five missed cuts in seven events, only one round under 70 in 18 and an average R1 score of 72.6. Flesch's meanwhile is 70.7.
