Buy Sean O' Hair FP at 34 with Spreadex for 0.6 Pts M/U 5, Loss 17.4 Pts
O' Hair has an 8th place finish here on his only appearance and is coming off of a Top 20 place at Hoylake so will be a popular choice with some. He also, of course, has Ryder Cup points to play for but for all that I would have him on FP quotes at around 36 in this field. His average for the year is 44 after failing to beat 50th in FP scoring for the first 12 events of the year. Since then he has improved, with two top 20's in seven events but all in all, 34 is low.

Buy Chris Di'Marco FP at 30 with
Spreadex for 0.6 Pts M/U 50, Profit 12 Pts
2nd at Hoylake behind Woods does not cover the cracks totally for what has been a terrible year for Di'Marco both personally and physically after an accident skiing and the death of his mother. His results pre-Liverpool show no Top 20's from March onwards and 10 maximum 50 M/U's in 13 starts. Like O' Hair, Di'Marco has great course form, 5 Top 25's in his last 5 starts, but current form cannot be ignored and 30 seems low in an above average field.

Round One Match Bets

Sell Camilo Villegas over Bo Van Pelt at 2 with
Sporting Index for 0.3 Pts M/U 13, Loss 3.3 Pts
Van Pelt leads the Colombian 11-5 over 18 months, 11-4-1 in R1 matches and has beaten him in their last 5 events they have both featured in. Both players are a bit out of form recently, and Van Pelt, the only player to have played here has a 0 from 2 cut record but the above stats suggest that we have a wrong favourite.

Buy Ted Purdy over Brad Faxon at 0.8 with
Cantor Spreadfair for 0.3 Pts M/U -22, Loss 6.84 Pts
In the last 6 events both of these players have played in, Purdy has won 5 of the 6 matches and this superiority is evident in Faxon's recent form where he has missed his last three cuts and only contributed two top 20's in seventeen starts this year with a best finish of 16th. Purdy is by no means having a great season himself but on form this year should be favourite by more than what is effectively "choice" at the exchange.
