note - the stakes on this page are expressed in a 'to win' style. This means, for example that a bet to win 2pts at odds of 4.0 has a risk of 0.67pts for a potential win of 2pts.
round 2 3balls: Back Stewart Cink against Phil Mickelson and Fred Couples to win 1pt @3.85 Centrebet Back Mark O'Meara against Sabbatini and Maruyama to win 1pt @5.0 at skybet Back Stephen Ames to beat Chad Campbell and Ben Curtis to win 2pt @4.0 at ladbrokes Back Billy Andrade to beat Parnevik and Rollins to win 2pt @4.33 at totesport All outside chances, but I feel that the odds have been pushed out far enough to justify it on each. Poor opening rounds from most, but remember it's a different course today - almost like a fresh start - and that could make a big difference. ----------------------------------------- round 2 2ball: Back Luke Donald to beat Phil Mickelson to win 1.5pt @2.62 Pinnacle - note: if you're having difficulty logging in to your Pinnacle account, check your email - they have reset all passwords as part of a security upgrade. If you look at the head-to-head records between these players there really isn't a lot in it. Mickelson is undoubtedly the more accomplished player of the two right now, but Donald is very consistent, which is an important consideration in match betting. This is an event they both have fantastic records in, so I don't really see an argument there for favouring one over the other. Simply this looks far too big a price for a matchup I see being a lot closer. |
