Jim Furyk to beat Retief Goosen -125 @ SportingOdds
Furyk is in excellent form and has won the last three h2h's with Goosen. When looking at the h2h's specifically
in this event Furyk impressively leads 7-1. Furyk has managed six top-20 finishes from ten previous starts in
this event, including an 8th place finish here at Medinah in 1999. Goosen has an extremely poor record here,
missing the cut on 50% of his appearances, including a missed cut here in 1999. Furyk has markedly the better
current form, event form and course form and will put in another bold showing.

Sean O'Hair to beat Vaughan Taylor -110 @ Pinnacle
O'Hair is at last consistently showing the form that made him a young player of such promise last season. And a
fair amount of that credit can be attributed to him rediscovering his short game around the greens. Vaughan's
form has been erratic of late and the pressure of qualifying for the Ryder Cup may be taking it's toll. O'Hair has
the game to do well here and if he retains his form can go very close this week.
Take anything over -130.
Matchup bets: (Total Stake: 2pts) Stephen Ames to beat Rod Pampling -110 @ BetInternet
Ames has by far the better current form, has the game to do well here and has performed well in this event in
the past. Pampling is consistent but his recent form is way below Ames and with Ames generally viewed as the
better player -110 looks to be a value choice.
Take anything over -125
Stewart Cink to beat Luke Donald +100 @ Stan James
Cink has all the making of an identikit contender this week and he is one of main fancies to lift the title. But this
is bascially a play against Donald who has consistently underperformed in the majors for a significant period of
time now leaving him a prime candidate for a value opposition. With Cink being a consistent finisher and likely to
put up a bold showing I'm more thn happy to take Donald on with Cink at this price.
