M/U 17.5, Loss 10.5 Pts Jones has played well recently but there is no getting away from the fact that his average for 2006 is over 40 and his course form is pretty poor. Four missed cuts, a 68th a 37th and one solitary Top 30 finishing 13th in 2003 is all Jones has to show for his trips here. Even allowing for the fact that a bigger event elsewhere ensures a below average field, Jones should be higher than 35. Buy Justin Rose FP at 30 with IG Sport for 0.6 Pts. M/U 3, Loss 16.2 Pts Rose has played well of late with 3 Top 20's in a row but overall in 2006 his average is around 37 and his scoring in this state is below average with finishes of cut/17/48/13/48/45 with the 17th place finish being on this course. Although the field quality is poor, Rose should still be a bit higher than the 30 available at IG. Buy Shaun Micheel FP at 39 with Sporting Index for 0.6 Pts. M/U 53.5, Profit 8.7 Pts Although Micheel had a great week at the Matchplay last week, you have to take into account the fact he played a lot of golf over those four days then travelled back to Texas to play in this weeks event which surely is a hindrence. His record in 2006 is poor with his average FP at Sporting on their scoring system a fairly high 51. His record on this course is also poor with a best finish of 5th, which is the only finish inside the Top 40 in 6 starts giving an average FP of 57 Buy Steve Flesch at 35 with IG Sport for 0.6 Pts. M/U 13, Loss 13.2 Pts Flesch averages over 40 on this tour in 2006 where his only highlights are a 3rd in the stabelford event in August and a 9th/10th in two other events a few months back. In 28 starts he has finished 50th or worse 15 times so 35 is value. He has a 7th place here but also a missed cut so all in all he is a worthy addition to the bets placed this week.
