Tournament Trades

Buy Heath Slocum FP at 32 with Spreadex for 0.6 Pts M/U 50, Profit 10.8 Pts
Slocum has a 2nd here but has a 50th place along with two MC's as well. It is noticeable that last year when he tied 50th he had went into the event off the back of two high finishes of 7th and 13th and this year of course he is going in to the week after a 12th and a 3rd. In an event which demands low scoring to contest in its short 6700 yards, Slocum has only beaten 68 four times in twelve rounds with two of them contributing to the 2nd place finish.

Buy Ben Crane FP at 29 with Spreadex for 0.6 Pts D/Q, M/U 50, Profit 12.6 Pts
Crane is the defending champion which can sometimes bring a few problems, as you have a lot more "off-course" duties. So this, coupled with him being in England only a few days ago and a low price in the 20's in a full field event means that there is a touch of value going long at 28. He has made his last 7 cuts so is showing form but his other appearance here was a 43rd place and maybe he should be around 31 in this field.

Round One Trades

Sell Kevin Sutherland over Steve Lowery at 0 with IG Sport for 0.3 Pts M/U 0.
Lowery has performed very poorly in his last two visits here but before that had a 9/cut/4/10/2 record in the 5 events previous to this. Sutherland, meanwhile, has performed no better than 14th in 4 attempts. On current form, Lowery was 15th in his last event at the Western Open which is a return to form after a poor spell following a 6th place a few weeks previously at the Wachovia. Sutherland has not had a Top 20 since Wachovia in 7 starts. H2H's sees Lowery lead 13-11 in R1 match ups in the last 18 months. All in all, we are betting against a false favourite.
