In 2005, in some really bad weather, this market MU at 260 and looking at the weather forecast it would suggest that 2005 conditions won't be repeated. There is always a caveat with these bets that you are totally at the mercy of how good weather forecasts are. One thing that is known though is torrential rain over the last 36 hours means that this hole may become a little easier than had the fairways and greens been brick hard. As is always the case with these markets we will review it day by day.

Bet 2 - Sell Charl Schwartzel over Jeff Gove 18H MB at 2 with IG Sport for 0.3 Pts. M/U 25, Loss 6.9 Pts
Schwartzel's USA record reads c/c/81/62/48/c/c with no rounds in the 60's in 20 attempts, and an average overall of 74.2. Gove, meanwhile, has made the cut in his last 6 starts from the Honda right through to last week at the Wachovia. Familiarity with the recent European tour winner probably dictates this price.

*Closing at 272. today's forecast suggests a tough time for the players and letting the bet run seems too large a risk. The 18th took over yesterday from the 17th as the hardest hole on the course and although that may flip flop today, the quote only allows for 50pts today on a 1/3/5 scoring system for 5, 6 and 7+ strokes respectively. With a large cut of 79 players there is little downside in getting out.
