Stake 2.5pts Bolli to beat Gore -105 @ Five Dimes A classic case of supposition over fact here. This is a long course that has traditionally favourred long hitters off the tee. Over the last 3 months Gore is rated just 25th for DD on the tour while Bolli is rated at a lowly 125th. But the facts are that while Bolli is hardly a class act he has made the cut on over 50% of his starts this season while Gore has missed the cut on his last five starts. In addition, although Gore should be suited by this course he has had three previous attempts and not made the cut yet. Bolli on the other hand finished 15th here in 2005 and has a very decent record in Georgia, the state where he attended college. Bolli beat Gore (mc)
Stake 2.5pts Goosen to beat Cink +120 @ Pinnacle Cink is still in sparkling form while Goosen looks to be in good form but a few question marks about the state of his game still remain. But Goosens previous form on this course is so impressive that this price is very tempting. He has finishes of mc-1-3-22-4 and his average FP in Georgia from 10 starts is an amazing 7.3. Cink also has decent form here but he also has the attention on him with this being his home event, even more so in this lacklustre field. Cink is not one I would normally want to take on but I can't reisist at this price given how well this course seems to fit Goosens eye. Goosen beaten by Cink by 4
Stake 3pts Crane to beat Villegas -110 @ BetFred Crane has a good chance this week. He has shown consistent form all season long, was a very impressive 6th place in last weeks Players Championship and has previous finishes here of mc-1-6. Villegas has been slightly disappointing this season with only one decent finish to his name and his short game can be quite poor on ocassions. He finished 3rd here last year on his only previous start. Favouritism for me should be with the more consistent and the better current form of Crane who has more evidence of favourable course form.
