3-2; +1.64pts

Round 1 plays (2pts):

Jason Dufner to beat Dustin Johnson -110 @ Five Dimes  WON by 2
Opposing Johnson whose big-hitting shouldn't suit on this course with its four-inch-plus bluegrass rough - if you can stay out of that stuff, the course will play easy and with Johnson ranked 197th (of 206) in driving accuracy on the Tour, it seems unlikely that he will be able to take advantage of the playing conditions

Cliff Kresge to beat Briny Baird -107 @ Pinnacle  TIED
Cliff Kresge to beat Bob Tway -110 @ Five Dimes  WON by 5
Backing Kresge to play well again on this course - he was 2nd after 54 holes last time - and, apart from another top-15 finish in his return to this event last year, he has also shown good form in his last two events. When Baird played on this course, he withdrew after an opening 80 and even though Tway did better, though still finshing behind Kresge, he has finished ahead of Kresge only five times (out of 18) over the last 12 months

No Round 2 plays.

Round 3 play (2pts):

Dudley Hart to beat Ben Curtis -108 @ Pinnacle  [also available @ Five Dimes, Carib and WSEX]  WON by 3
Backing a former winner on this course (plus a further top-3 finish in 1999) against a player who should be feeling the fatigue effects of a top-10 finish at Royal Birkdale last week, accentuated by the weather delays in this event

Further Round 3 play (2pts):

Kevin Na to beat Mark Calcavecchia -113 @ Pinnacle  LOST by 3
The last time that Calc completed played the full 72 holes in an event was back in March and with his recent injury concerns, it is rather a surprise that he has actually made the cut this week. I can't see him continuing this form in such a weather-disrupted event, so will gladly oppose him with Na

Round 4 play (2pts):

Brian Davis to beat Nicholas Thompson -105 @ Unibet  LOST by 3
Thompson has started the final round in the top-10 nine times, but only once has he shot less than 71, shooting 75 or higher four of those nine times. With Davis ranked 1st in greens in regulation so far this week (Thompson is 26th), he looks far more likely to shoot the low score today
