Stake 3pts Henry to beat Beckman -110 @ Skybet
Henry's form has significantly improved in this second half of the season and it has been most impressive of late due to an improvement in his putting. He has played pretty well here in the past and in particular his putting here has been quite impressive. Beckman had done precious little for most of the season until his victory in the Fry's and there has to be an expectation that despite his recent performances his form will dissipate soon. Henry is a very streaky player and is favoured while he is in such good form.
Henry beat Beckman by 5

Stake 3pts Canizares to beat Cejka -118 @ Unibet
Canizares has shown glimpses of promise throughout the season but has yet to fulfil that promise. But he did perform reasonably well last week and doesn't miss too many cuts. Although he hasn't played here before it's hardly a concern given that Cejka's form here is poor and his performance last week was so bad in every department of his game that I can't see him improving enough to make the cut this week.
Canizares beat Cejka (mc)

Stake 3pts Elkington to beat Lonard -120 @ Centrebet & William Hill
Both players are in the best form of the season but preference is for Elkington whose recent form is that bit better, he has a bit more class than Lonard and shows far greater consistency. Lonard's previous form here has been at best average while Elkington has an 11th place finish from his only previous start but it was way back in 1999. Elkington does have quite impressive birdie stats and given that this week could be a birdie fest he is taken to maintain his healthy h2h lead over Lonard.
Elkington beat Lonard (mc)

Stake 4pts Marino to beat Watson -110 @ Centrebet
Watson has been a model of consistency this second half of the season while Marino has been supremely consistent all year long. Marino should put in another decent showing again this week given his good recent form, backed up a strong all-round game, a strong showing here last year and some impressive birdie stats for the season. Watson also has some decent birdie stats but can just as quickly rack up the bogeys due to his waywardness off the tee. He has played here the last two season and not figured prominently and his recent form doesn't suggest anything different.
Marino beat Watson (mc)
