Buy Tim Wilkinson over Nicholas Thompson 18H R1 MB at 1.5 with Sporting Index for 0.25 Pts M/U -22, Loss 5.87 Pts Both players have hit a bit of form, with Wilkinson 6th and 3rd in his last two starts and Thompson in 4th last week. H2H's show a 17-11 lead for Wilkinson and has him showing a very decent FP average albeit in only 8 starts on this tour. Wilkinson has to be backed at choice especially since the only course form for either is a missed cut for Thompson two years ago.
Buy Adam Scott over Andres Romero 18H R1 MB at 6 with Cantor Spreadfair for 0.25 Pts M/U 46, Profit 10 Pts Opposing the previous week's winner, especially when it is a first win, can sometimes pay well. You just don't know what preparation they have put in amongst the celebrating and countless interviews and the price this week, had he done nothing of note last week, would be nearer 10. Therefore, opposing Romero with last year's winner and a player with ten Top 20's in sixteen tour starts at 6 is value.
Buy Trevor Immelman over Troy Matteson 18H R1 MB at 4 with Cantor Spreadfair for 0.25 Pts M/U 13, Profit 2.25 Pts In the year they both played here Immelman just finished outside the Top 10 whereas Matteson had packed his bags two days before. Current form sees Immelman slowly improving after a poor spell with injury but he still has a 9-4 lead on Matteson over a year and for all his recent problems he has won 3 of the last 4 matches. A standout 2nd in the Honda is all Matteson can cling to for confidence in his last 6 starts where has has missed 3 cuts and failed to finish in the Top 50 in the other 2.
