Result 0-5 -17.0

Tiger Woods 10 points @ 13/10 Pinnacle and Extra Bet.

I really can't see Tiger being beaten this week. The best price available for a Tiger Grand Slam in 10-1 and the Masters is definitely the most suited at Augusta which makes these odds reasonable value. I don't really need to say too much as both his course form and especially his recent form speak for itself.

Adam Scott 1pt ew @ 35-1 Hills

Although Scott does not have the best form in this major I am prepared to take his side this week. Opened with a blistering 9 under last week before suffering will illness and having to withdraw after the second round. Won in Qatar with a closing 61 and think he may just be stepping up that extra gear. Whilst he is a little inconsistent if he comes out firing I am sure he will give Tiger a run for the green jacket

Fred Couples 1pt ew @ 60-1 without woods Blue Square

I have previously mentioned Boom Boom will be gearing his entire season around the Masters and he was available @ 125s last week but is no better than 90s now following his T4th last week. Has never missed a cut at Augusta and really did have a great opportunity to add a second green jacket to his collection 2 years ago when he played by far the best golf tee to green only to be let down by the putter. This is obviously a slight concern in Couples game but he really does rise to the occasion when he drives up Magnolia Drive.

J Olazabal 0.5pt @ 80-1 Without Woods generally available.

A little bit of a speculative play for a player who has been plagued with injuries. Having returned from his last break only a few weeks ago it was good to see him figuring at the top of the leaderboard last week for a while. Obviously he needs to perform over 4 rounds but do feel he is another who will benefit from the "Augusta" effect and hopefully this will be enough to carry him through any suffering he may still be experiencing.

Luke Donald Top European 1pt ew @ 8s  Bet Fred 1/5 top4

I really do see this as almost a bet to nothing. Donald  has had 3 starts in the US Masters with 2 top ten finishes to his credit including a 3rd in 2005 on his debut. Has shown some good form this year including a 2nd and I think we can expect another big week from a player who is a model of consistency.

More plays may follow.
