Round 1 plays (1pt)
Jeff Quinney to beat Paul Casey -110 @ Five Dimes WON by 4 A missed cut in both starts this year and a missed cut in his only previous start in this event; that form should not be enough for Casey to beat Quinney who was a top-10 finisher last year and has improved each week this year
Anthony Kim to beat Andres Romero -133 @ Unibet TIED Kim also finished in the top-10 last year and has played far better this year than Romero who has missed both cuts on the PGA Tour and is making his course debut
K.J. Choi to beat Steve Stricker -115 @ Five Dimes WON by 6 On any other course this may be a close content over 72 holes, but Choi leads Stricker 13-5-2 head-to-head over the past 12 months and has a very good record round this course; Stricker has struggled on it and even avoided coming here since 2004
Aaron Baddeley to beat Retief Goosen -120 @ Pinnacle WON by 6 Baddeley beat Goosen by seven shots in last year's tournament and has shot 72 or better in each 1st round this year; Goosen is making his season debut after pulling out of the Qatar Masters three weeks ago with blurred vision
Charles Howell to beat Luke Donald -107 @ Pinnacle LOST by 3 I'll back the defending champion who has also been a runner-up on this course and started the season in good form against a player whose game has continued its long-term decline ... average 'adjusted' score - 2006: 68.95; 2007: 69.84; 2008: 70.54
Round 2 plays (1pt):
Jeff Quinney to beat Hunter Mahan -105 @ Five Dimes WON by 7 Mahan has missed his last two cuts this season and on both occasions that he has previously competed in this event. With that history, I'm more confident of Quinney continuing yesterday's good form
Chad Campbell to beat Angel Cabrera -115 @ Five Dimes WON by 3 Cabrera saved his round yesterday with four birdies to close, but it only his 6th sub-par round in 15 attempts and if he only hits 5 fairways again today, he really shouldn't break par again
No round 3 plays
Round 4 plays (1pt):
Steve Marino to beat Joe Durant -105 @ Five Dimes LOST by 5 Of the 191 players who have a minimum of eight 4th round scores over the past 12 months on the PGA Tour, Durant ranks 170th. Marino may not be the best finisher on Tour, but he still ranks over 1.5 shots better on Sundays
Lucas Glover to beat Angel Cabrera +110 @ Pinnacle WON by 1 Cabrera was opposed in the 2nd round because of his driving accuracy problems and they have only been cured by hitting it shorter and shorter each day off the tee - yesterday he averaged just 255 yards; over 35 yards shorter than Glover. At best I'd put them as pick'em so I'll take these odds on Glover
