Stake 3pts Allenby to beat Stricker +115 @ Pinnacle
Allenby continues in fine form and this is a decent price against a player who has shown surprisingly little form in Florida. In his last 16 starts in Florida Stricker has missed the cut on 14 occassions. And in Florida h2h's Allenby leads 15-2 since 2000. Given the form that Allenby is in we can expect another decent showing which given past evidence should be good enough to take Stricker in this region. Allenby tied with Stricker

Stake 3pts Appleby to beat Ames -110 @ Blue Square
After what was ultimately a disappointing year for Appleby last season he has returned in better shape than ever. His last seven starts have resulted in six top ten finishes. Similarly to Allenby he is a player to support when in form and as he has a decent record in the state he can go close again this week. Ames has a very good record in Florida but his record in this event is average and although he started the season well his last couple of starts have been less inspiring. Allenby beat Ames by 6

Stake 3pts Senden to beat Goosen -110 @ The Greek
Goosen's form continues to disappoint and although his game isn't as bad as some people may suggest he doesn't justify such a short price here. Senden's current form is decent enough and pretty consistent as well. His game is based around accuracy which should help on this course and he has pretty decent previous form both in the state and on this course (2nd here last season). Whatever Goosen has achieved in the past can probably be discounted for the time being while his game is suffering. There was little indication of a turnaround in form last weekend so it at this price it feels justified to continue opposing him. Senden beat Goosen (MC)

Stake 3pts Verplank to beat Crane -110 @ Sportingbet
Verplank's recent driving accuracy stats are quite outstanding, 78.6% is his lowest on the tour this season. With his game in such fine form, his overall consistency and with a decent record in the state he looks assured of another good finish here. Crane is developing into a decent player but Verplank is just that little bit superior in most departments at the moment and he has won 8 out of the last 10 h2h's against Crane in the state. Verplank (MC) beaten by Crane

Stake 3pts Pettersson to beat Immelman -110 @ Ladbrokes
We've mentioned previously what a shocker of a record Immelman has in Florida and last week he missed the cut again so it seems justified to oppose him again if a suitable matchup could be found. Pettersson form this season has been okay but he has a good record in the state and two previous top ten finishes on this course. His lack of consistency is a worry but he has the better chance of making the cut based on past evidence which may just be enough to win this matchup. Pettersson beat Immelman by 8

Stake 2pts Glover to beat Mahan +100 @ Sportingbet
Stake 2pts Quinney to beat Mahan -105 @ Centrebet
Mahan is yet another player with a very poor record in Florida. From the 18 starts he has had in this state the best finish he has managed is 36th and he has missed the cut on the last four occassions. So who to take him on with? Well Durant looked the pbvious choice but everyone and his dog is on Durnat this week. Glover and Quinney look to be the two best value options. I'm not a great fan of Glover, I've always thought he flatters to deceive at times, but he has a good record in the state, was fourth here last season and leads Mahan 8-3 in Florida h2h's.
I also quite like the chances of Quinney this week. He has good current form with a nice set of recent finishes including a 2nd place finish last week (4th for DA and 2nd for GIR). Last season nhe finished a decent 38th and his record in Florida is not too bad either. Glover beaten by Mahan by 5   Quinney (WD) beaten by Mahan
