Buy Kenny Perry over Nick Watney R1 18H MB at 1.5 with Sporting Index for 0.25 Pts M/U 34, Profit 8.12 Pts
Adopting the "form is temporary, class is permanent" view here a little supporting Perry who has lost 4 of his last 5 matchups to Watney but had previously been 10-1-1 over a full 12 months since last year's Players'. Perry has two Top 10's here over 12 years and an average finish of 45 with a 67% strike rate in playing all 4 days. Watney, meanwhile, has only played the once and shot 75/80 to miss the cut with some ease.

Buy Bo Van Pelt over Soren Hansen R1 18H MB at 1.5 with Sporting Index for 0.25 Pts M/U -19, Loss 5.12 Pts
Buy Vaughn Taylor over Soren Hansen R1 18H MB at 1.5 with Sporting Index for 0.25 Pts M/U -31, Loss 8.12 Pts
Double play against Hansen who offers an US soil record of 43/52/cut/cut/cut and a 70th at Doral this year when only 5 finishers faired worse. Van Pelt and Taylor both have a Top 10 here amongst some poor results but both should easily be clear favourite in their respective matches against Hansen.

Buy Jonathan Byrd over Todd Hamilton R1 18H MB at 4 with Sporting Index for 0.25 Pts M/U -31, Loss 8.75 Pts
16th and 32nd are the two best offerings for Byrd round this course but both easily beat Hamilton's efforts of 58/cut/cut/75 in the four years that winning at Troon in 04' has allowed him access. Hamilton has certainly played a lot better recently but a best 71 (twice) in 12 rounds here is poor and although Byrd isn't playing that well at the moment he still managed a 12th in New Orleans in March and that's better than Hamilton

Buy Brandt Snedeker over Andres Romero R1 18H MB at 3 with Sporting Index for 0.25 Pts M/U 25, Profit 5.5 Pts
Snedeker leads 6-3 in events and has a 12th here in his only visit in 07' which is still more experience of the course than Romero has. Snedeker should really be about 2-5 here even although romero has winning form this year.

Sell Brett Quigley over Bob Estes R2 18H MB at 6 with Sporting Index for 0.25 Pts M/U -13, Profit 4.75 Pts

Sell Briny Baird over Bob Estes R2 18H MB at 8 with Sporting Index for 0.25 Pts M/U 22, Loss 3.5 pts

Sell Sergio Garcia over Steve Stricker R2 18H MB at 4 with
Sporting Index for 0.25 Pts M/U 19, Loss 3.75  Pts

Hansen gave us a double blow yesterday winning both matches fairly easily but I still believe there is value in supporting one of his opponents today, even although he sits in a tie for 128th place. This is a common theme throughout the players we are supporting, Stricker is T111 and Estes is on the same mark. The prices offered reflect a far greater emphasis on one 18 hole round than it should and the prices are an accumulated 11 pts better than they were yesterday.
