Round 3 plays (1pt):
Jason Allred to beat Miguel Suarez -125 @ Five Dimes WON by 5 Great achievement by Suarez to be 22nd after the cut and the leading Puerto Rican, but he should find it difficult to cope with the extra pressure over the weekend - he has only ever played on the Tour de Las Americas until now and only achieved one top-15 finish and that was over seven years ago
Dan Forsman to beat Travis Perkins -120 @ Five Dimes WON by 1 Opposing Perkins who struggled on the Nationwide Tour, missing 16 of his last 20 cuts on that Tour, so it is not suprising that he had missed four of five cuts this year on the PGA Tour
Tim Petrovic to beat Alejandro Canizares -115 @ Five Dimes LOST by 1 Another cut made by Canizares, but once again he is well down the field. He has yet to better 71 in the 3rd round this year and that should make him an underdog against Petrovic who had a top-10 finish in Mexico last month
Jeff Overton to beat Ben Curtis -120 @ Five Dimes LOST by 4 A best-finish this year of 62nd makes Curtis easy to oppose, particularly against Overton who has beaten him ievery time that have both played in the 3rd round since the start of last season
Esteban Toledo to beat Kenneth Ferrie -115 @ Five Dimes LOST by 1 Finishes of 24th in Panama and 21st and 11th in Mexico this year are good indications of Toledo's abilities in this region. He also beat Ferrie by 9 shots in the 3rd round in Mayakoba Golf Classic last month as the Englishman's early season form has deserted him
Round 4 plays (1pt):
Marco Dawson to beat Ted Purdy -111 @ Unibet [also available at Five Dimes] WON by 2 Big difference in how these two play in the final round. Dawson has beaten Purdy in every common 4th round since the start of the 2007 season and ranks 20th in 4th round scoring on the PGA Tour over the past 12 months; Purdy ranks 144th
Tom Scherrer to beat Tommy Gainey +103 @ Five Dimes LOST by 3 Four missed cuts and a finish of 54th in his five starts this year is the return that many people expected from 'Two Gloves' this year, so it is a suprise to see Scherrer odds-against in a 4th round matchup with him ... just enough bait to hook me!
Lee Janzen to beat Alvaro Quiros Garcia -106 @ Five Dimes TIED Another surprising choice of favourite. Quiros Garcia's 4th round scores this year read: 72, 81, 71; Janzen's read: 69, 71, 70
