4-6; -4.56pts

Round 1 play (2pts):

Jim Furyk to beat Padraig Harrington +100 @ Carib  LOST by 2
Pod may be in great form - much better than he usually is at this time of the year - but Furyk has finished 15th and 8th in the last two Playoff events, so he is hardly short of confidence either. And then there is the course form: Harrington made his debut at Cog Hill last year and finished 55th of 79; Furyk's last 10 finishes in this event are 6th, 7th, 34th, 3rd, 3rd, 7th, 1st, 4th, 14th, 3rd (staged at Bellerive). With that history, there is a lot of value in a player at plus odds.

Round 2 plays (2pts):

Jonathan Byrd to beat Mark Wilson +100 @ Five Dimes  LOST by 13

Zach Johnson to beat Scott Verplank +101 @ Pinnacle  WON by 10

Retief Goosen to beat Phil Mickelson +125 @ Five Dimes  LOST by 3

Round 3 plays (1pt):

Luke Donald to beat Anthony Kim -105 @ Bet365  WON by 4

Steve Marino to beat Camilo Villegas +100 @ Five Dimes  WON by 3

Bo Van Pelt to beat Marc Leishman +100 @ SkyBet [available widely]  LOST by 4

Round 4 plays (1pt):

Dustin Johnson to beat Brian Davis -110 @ Boyle Sports [tie loses] [available generally]  WON by 2

Steve Stricker to beat Phil Mickelson -140 @ Five Dimes [also available @ Stan James]  LOST by 1

Dustin Johnson to beat Camilo Villegas -118 @ Pinnacle [also available @ The Greek, Carib and WSEX]  LOST by 7

NOTES

Plays will typically be 1pt and cover only '2-ball' matches rather than '3-balls' matches. Note that '1pt' represents 'to win 1pt' if the player is odds-on (negative in moneyline terms or less than 2.0 in decimal odds) and represents '1pt staked' if the player is odds-against (positive in moneyline terms or at least 2.0 in decimal odds). If ties lose, this will be indicated.

Reasons will be given for round 1 plays, but thereafter the plays will be listed only - there is less time for handicapping between rounds, plus if I detail too many intra-round angles during the course of the season, the odds will surely be adjusted in future if the angles are profitable.
