5-6; -8.05pts

Round 1 plays (2pts):

Sergia Garcia to beat Padraig Harrington +110 @ Paddy Power [available generally]  LOST by 3
Backed this matchup last week and Garcia won en route to leading The Barclays after the 1st round. Harrington did finish the event better, but having missed the cut at the course on both his previous visits, he may not continue his recent good run of form. Garcia has finished 17th and 5th here in the last two years and has certainly shown that he can play very well for 18 holes, rather than 72.

Tim Clark to beat David Toms +102 @ Pinnacle [also available @ Bet365 and WSEX]  LOST by 3
I don't see why Toms is the favourite in this matchup. He withdrew after an opening 75 in his last appearance here and has not shown any of the form that he displayed in June. Clark has finished ahead of him in four of their last five common events (so there doesn't seem to be any lingering problem with his neck) and he has two top-15 finishes at the TPC Boston in four attempts.

Luke Donald to beat Ian Poulter +100 @ William Hill  WON by 3
Poulter may be displaying the better form at the moment, but with missed cuts in both his previous starts on this course, he would have been expected to prepare well this week. Instead, he has only played the pro-am according to his Twitter site and spent yesterday evening at a Patriots vs. Giants game at Tom Brady's hospitality. He seemed more concerned that he was playing with Stewart Cink and needed to depose him as the Twitter King. On a course that he knows well and has played well on, this approach would be fine, but I can only oppose for this round at least.

Round 2 plays (3pts):

Anthony Kim to beat Camilo Villegas +100 @ Carib [also available @ SkyBet]  LOST by 1

Kevin Stadler to beat Marc Leishman +115 @ Unibet [also available @ Extrabet]  LOST by 8

Ian Poulter to beat Dustin Johnson +120 @ SkyBet [tie loses] [also available @ Extrabet and Unibet]  LOST by 6

Round 3 plays (1pt):

Padraig Harrington to beat Geoff Ogilvy -120 @ PinnacleThe Greek and Carib [also available @ William Hill]  WON by 3

Steve Stricker to beat Geoff Ogilvy -135 @ Carib  WON by 5

Dustin Johnson to beat Sean O'Hair +100 @ Paddy Power [also available @ Carib]  TIED

Round 4 plays (1pt):

Dustin Johnson to beat Sean O'Hair -105 @ Carib  WON by 5

Dustin Johnson to beat John Senden -125 @ WSEX [also available @ FiveDimesPinnacle, The Greek and Carib]  WON by 3

Zach Johnson to beat Geoff Ogilvy -105 @ Carib [also available @ FiveDimesPinnacle, The Greek and WSEX]  LOST by 2

NOTES

Plays will typically be 1pt and cover only '2-ball' matches rather than '3-balls' matches. Note that '1pt' represents 'to win 1pt' if the player is odds-on (negative in moneyline terms or less than 2.0 in decimal odds) and represents '1pt staked' if the player is odds-against (positive in moneyline terms or at least 2.0 in decimal odds). If ties lose, this will be indicated.

Reasons will be given for round 1 plays, but thereafter the plays will be listed only - there is less time for handicapping between rounds, plus if I detail too many intra-round angles during the course of the season, the odds will surely be adjusted in future if the angles are profitable.
