Stake 2pts Rose to beat Calcavecchia -110 @ Bet365, Boyle Sports & Intertops Lose
Stake 2pts Weekley to beat Calcavecchia -120 @ William Hill Lose
Rose has had a tough time of it since his superb form of 2007. But his display and stats in Dubai were impressive and he put in a good performance here last season. He also hasn't lost a h2h to Calc since this event last season.
Weekley has started the season well and is currently ranked top of the tour in ball striking. In his two previous starts here he finished 2nd in 2007 and would have put in another decent finish last year if it wasn't for a closing 80.
Calcavecchia will be fancied by some due to his excellent recent form and his fourth place finish here last season. But he surely can't putt to the same standard as he has done for the last 2 weeks and although he might put in another good finish in all probability he is more likely to finish down the field. He is totally outclassed by both players and the good current and course form really doesn't make up for that gulf in class against two players who are expected to put in a good showing this week.

Stake 3pts Senden to beat De Jonge -110 @ The Greek
Senden holds a 14-3 h2h lead over DeJonge over the last three years and a 3-1 lead tis season so conditions would have to be very much in De Jonge's favour to justify these odds. His recent form is better than Sendens but he missed the cut here last season and can be wayward off the tee which is could easily get punished this week. Senden has had a rather mixed start to the season but has a couple of decent performances. He is accurate and has a couple of decent finishes here despite disappointing opening rounds. He should be clear favourite here. Win

Stake 3pts Duke to beat Lonard -105 @ Pinnacle
Duke has had a disappointing start to the season but he has a pretty awful record in the west coast swing where his average FP if over 66th from 17 starts. He is a different player in Florida where he has an excellent record, although he has 2 missed cuts from 2 previous starts here. Despite that he is a different class to Lonard and he leads 17-4 in h2h's over the past 12 months against Lonard. Lonard performed pretty well here last season but that shouldn't be enough to match Duke this week back in Florida. Tie

Stake 3pts Els to beat McIlroy -118 @ Boyle Sports
Els had a return to form last week in the Matchplay which coincided with a new putter, a copy of an old putter he used to use. His all-round game remains strong and if his putting holds up then he can go close and he did win this event last season. McIlroy clearly has a lot of talent but this is his PGA debut and there will be a lot of attention on him. He should be able to handle it in the long term but the added attention can't be an asset to his game this week. Lose

Stake 3pts Pettersson to beat Streelman -110 @ Ladbrokes
Streelman put in a good performance last week finishing 3rd in Mexico but that followed three missed cuts and is more likely to finish down the field again than he is to finish in the places. He also finished down the field here last season. Pettersson has had a reasonable start to the season and has won the last three h2h's with Streelman. He also has two good finishes from his previous starts here and could have had a top ten finish here if it wasn't for a disappointing final round. Lose
