Bets: 4 Wins: 3 Losses: 1 Profit/Loss = + 3.36 pts Stake 2pts Curtis to beat Beem -105 @ Pinnacle Win Although Curtis missed the cut last week his recent form has been a model of consistency and he leads Beem 8-2 in h2h's over the past 12 months despite Beem's good recent form. Neither player has great previous form here and although Beem finished 11th here in 2006 he has missed the cut on his subsequent two starts. He also has a quite dreadful record in Texas with 19 missed cuts and 3 withdrawls from 35 starts and an average FP of 83.3. Surviving the cut might just be good enough for Curtis here.
Stake 4pts Hoffman to beat Leonard -111 @ Expekt Lose Hoffman seems to have everything going for him this week. His recent form is good, his previous course form reads 21/31/6, his general Texas form is very good and he has a long game that should be suited to this course. Leonard is from Texas and has a fairly consistent record in the state and here but it's no match to Hoffman's form. Although he performed well last time out there is a concern that his lack of length will be against him this week and although he is expected to put in another decent performance if Hoffman performs as in the past it shouldn't be a match to Hoffman this week.
Stake 3pts Love to beat Howell -110 @ Ladbrokes, Bet365 Win Love's return to form has been a lengthy one now and there are clear signs that this resurgence will continue throughout the season. Despite missing the cut last week his recent form has been good and consistent. He has the necessary length of the tee and accurate iron game to perform well here and did so on his only start when finishing 26th here last season. Howell has also shown consistency of late but his form is that bit poorer than Loves and his previous form here is not that great. I make Love around a -120 to -125 shot here.
Stake 2pts Lunde to beat Pernice -105 @ FiveDimes Lunde DNS Lunde has had a decent enough start to life on the tour making on over 50% of his starts and even managed a 6th place finish at Pebble Beach. He is a strong driver with decent GIR stats but no course form. Pernice's start to the season has been very similar to Lunde's and again nhe has no course experience. But his Texas form is quite poor and he worryingly short off the tee. Although Lunde is lacking in tour experience I would have him favourite here somewhere around -115 to -120. Further Play Stake 3pts Glover to beat Kaymer -110 @ The Greek Win Glover has shown promising form of late with a number of decent finishes but showing the odd sign of inconsistency. His game should be suited to this weeks course and he has two good previous finishes here from three starts. Kayner is a model of consistency on the European Tour but his US record is poor with finishes of mc/57/mc/53/68/mc/35 and with no course experience Glover should really be favourite here.
