72H - Goosen/Garcia Buy at 1 at Sporting Index for 0.5 Pts. M/U -12, Loss 6.5 Pts
Goosen leads 6-1 on the course since 2002. Garcia has missed 3 cuts in that time whilst Goosen hasn't missed any. Garcia's putting just never seems to hold up here and although from Sawgrass in 2008 til the end of the regular season he seemed to have sorted his putting out, he seems back to the jittery Garcia of old this year.

72H - Furyk/Cink Sell at 0 Extrabet for 0.5 Pts. M/U 14, Loss 7 Pts
Cink was 3rd last yr and in H2Hs in the same time span as above leads 4-1. Cink should be clear favourite here.

Sell Ross Fisher over Kevin Sutherland R1 18H MB at 0 with Extrabet for 0.5 Pts M/U 0
A 34th place in 2008's limited field CA Championship is his best US return so far and he is pitted tomorrow in his first round here against Sutherland who has four top 25's in 8 starts this year and who has course experience having played in 2002 and 2003. Sutherland should be favourite.

Sell Louis Oosthuizen over Carl Pettersson R1 18H MB at 0 with Sporting Index or Spreadex for 0.5 Pts M/U 16, Loss 8 Pts
Sell Louis Oosthuizen over Dudley Hart R1 18H MB at 2 with Sporting Index or
Spreadex for 0.5 Pts M/U -13, Profit 6.5 Pts
Another debutant being opposed with Hart, who has finishes of 28th and 43rd in three starts here, and Pettersson, 27th and 52nd in two starts. On US soil Oosthuizen has a best 20th place in six starts and the opponents' experience of playing in the US regularly and having valuable course form means Oosthuizen is arguably a false favourite

Sell Padraig Harrington over Ryuji Imada R1 18H MB at 7 with Sporting Index for 0.5 Pts M/U 22, Loss 7.5 pts
Harrington is going for the Paddyslam as the media have deemed it and that alone brings it's own pressures and he certainly hasn't played too well in 09' so far. His opponent, Imada, went to college in this state and has won just up the road at Sugarloaf. His Georgia record actually reads 15/10/2/1/17 in his last 5 starts so arguably 7 is too high even if Harrington is the likely winner.

Sell Phil Mickelson over Jim Furyk R1 18H MB at 7 with Sporting Index for 0.5 Pts M/U -31, Profit 19 Pts
Furyk is an enigma round this course, and why the Cink 72H bet above is value as he is far more reliable in Georgia. However, Furyk still has three Top 10s and has only missed one cut in 12 starts. Mickelson is obviously the biggest danger to Woods and is a deserving favourite here but 10-6 in H2Hs over 12 months and 9-3 here (7-4-1 in R1) doesn't qualify Mickelson to be such a 7pt favourite.

Sell Trevor Immelman over Danny Lee R1 18H MB at 5 with Sporting Index for 0.5 Pts M/U 19, Loss 7 Pts
Danny Lee is a debutant we are going to support but it is more an opposition to Immelman who really hasn't played well at all since last years' win. 2nd in St Jude and 10th at the Tour Championship are the only top 10s since. His record at Augusta is also strange, a 5th in 2005 and his win apart, he has failed to beat 55th in his 4 other starts and in the 12 rounds played on those occasions has only beaten 76 (+4) twice. Lee could be anything of course but at the price he must be supported.

Sell Camilo Villegas over Jim Furyk R1 18H MB at 0 with Sporting Index for 0.5 Pts M/U -31, Profit 15.5 Pts
I wasn't going to put Furyk up twice today as there are enough questions on his Augusta form, but Stanley argues the case well for Furyk on the 18H link above. Furyk leads 9-5 in events over the year and has won all 4 rounds when they have played at the Masters, so it confirms my initial view that Furyk is a false underdog here. Villegas has yet to shoot par on this course.

R1 - +18.5 pts 3-3-1

R2

Sell D.J. Trahan over Pat Perez 18H R2 MB at 0 with Spreadex for 0.5 Pts M/U 28, Loss 14 Pts
H2Hs have Perez 10-6 up over the last year and interestingly 11-4-1 up in R2 whereas Trahan has the edge in R1 by 10-5-1.

Sell Andres Romero over Boo Weekley 18H R2 MB at 1 with Extrabet for 0.5 Pts M/U 13, Loss 6 Pts
Weekley has won 4 of 5 2009 matchups and has a scoring record nearly a full stroke lower than Romero.

Sell Zach Johnson over Robert Allenby 18H R2 MB at 0 with Spreadex for 0.5 Pts M/U
Allenby leads 12-3 in H2Hs and 11-2-2 in R2 alone. johnson has much the better course form but Allenby does have the stats to contend here.

Apologies here, in the rush to get bets out i got my Robert's mixed up. This should have been Johnson/Karlsson (unfortunately Karlsson won by some way and I hope those following took the bet anyway, but will ignore it for settling purposes.)

Sell Ross Fisher over Kevin Sutherland 18H R2 MB at 1 with Extrabet for 0.5 Pts M/U 0, Profit 0.5 Pts
Fisher led for most of the way yesterday but two late bogeys seen Sutherland catch up and tie. There is no doubt Fisher performed much better than his previous tour form would have suggested but Sutherland has also performed well on the day and the price shouldn't be longer now than it was yesterday.

Sell Nick Watney over Ben Curtis 18H R2 MB at 5 with Spreadex for 0.5 Pts M/U 0, Profit 2.5 Pts
Not much between them in H2Hs at 7-6 to Watney and Curtis didn't play too badly yesterday. Watney has been tipped up by a few people and that may have influenced this price which is arguably a couple of points too high

Sell Miguel Angel Jimenez over Ben Curtis 18H R2 MB at 2 with Spreadex for 0.5 Pts M/U -16, Profit 9 Pts
Like the first bet, we have a matchup where the favourite performs better in R1 and although we are backing Curtis twice today, both trades are of equal value and therefore worth taking.
