Stake 1.5pts Immelman to beat Choi +111 @ Pinnacle
Immelman ended the year brightly after an inconsistent 2008 season due to some quite poor putting throughout the season. However from around September onwards there has been a marked improvement in that department. He finished 3rd here in 2007 on his only previous start and has the decent length off the tee to perform well here. Choi finished the year with a couple of poor finishes on the Asian Tour, he lacks the distance of Immelman and has inconsistent previous form here. Loss

Stake 1.5pts Holmes to beat Weekly +105 @ Pinnacle
Weekly shaded the h2h's last season but with conditions in his favour Holmes should be slight favourite this week. He has an ideal game for this course being long off the tee and a decent putter and backed this up with a 4th place finish here in 2007. Weekly slowly got to grips with the course last season but ultimately finished a distant 23rd. He's not short off the tee but he isn't a great putter and might struggle to make the birdies on these larger than average greens. No additional information to glean from recent form. Loss

Stake 1.5pts MacKenzie to beat Z Johnson +145 @ Unibet
The conditions of this course don't really suit Johnson's game which revolves around accuracy and this is backed up by his two rather average previous performances here. MacKenzie has reasonable length off the tee and did finish 4th here back in 2007. The h2h record between these two showed a 6-4-1 lead for Johnson which makes a price of +145 hard to fathom when conditions are against Johnson this week. Loss

Stake 1.5pts Els to beat Singh +120 @ Coral
People talk about Singh remarkable record here but in course h2h's he trails Els 3-1. In addition in all h2h's last season the result was a tie at 6-6. Course conditions obviously suit both players but there does exist the big question mark regarding Singh's fitness. He has already pulled out of next weeks Sony and there are doubts regarding his knee. Although Els can be a bit of an enigma these days this price is bigger than Kim and Villegas to beat Singh which I Can't agree with in this case. Win
