Stake 1.5pts Donald to beat Allenby -120 @ Carib
The three year h2h superiority that Donald has over Allenby, 19-9, shows the difference in class/consistency between these two. Donald has returned from injury this season as good as he left and although Allenby has excellent course form here Donald's previous course form is not lacking. Win

Stake 1.5pts Clark to beat Baddeley -111 @ Centrebet
Not much to separate them on overall ability but Clark has arguably the better recent form and has won 5 of the last 8 h2h's and his form this season reads a bit better to me. They both have shown they can put in a decent showing on this course but Clark superb iron game would seem to lend itself more favourably for this course. Win

Stake 1.5pts Berganio to beat Pavin -105 @ FiveDimes
Berganio has had an okay start to the season with a couple of decent finishes and some decent stats indicate that his game is in reasonable shape. Pavin has missed his last seven cuts and although he has a decent record here, he also had a decent record at Pebble Beach and missed the cut there last week. He is very short off the tee nowadays and his short game doesn't look to be good enough these days to compensate for that. Win

Stake 1.5pts Crane to beat Quinney -110 @ SportingBet
Quinney has missed the cut in eleven out of his last fifteen finishes and trails Crane 13-5 in h2h's over the last 12 months. Yes he does have two top 10 finishes from two starts and Crane hasn't shown a lot here previously, but that is not enough to justify Crane at these odds. Lose

Stake 1.5pts Glover to beat Leonard -111 @ Carib, WSEX, Pinnacle, Bet365
Glover has quietly impressed so far this season and his stats last time out were superb highlighting how solid his game is at the moment. He has played here twice previously and put in a couple of decent performances. Leonard put in some excellent performances towards the end of last season but his finishes this season haven't been so great. He also has shown very little form here in his previous visits. Lose

Stake 1.5pts Z Johnson to beat Goosen -118 @ BetInternet
Goosen's game still has question marks around it due to his lack of consistency. He also has no previous form to speak of here. Johnson is a player I fancy this week, his game is strong at the moment and although he has no close finishes here previously he has been very consistent here in the past. In comments to the press this week he has been quoted as saying "I love everything about it." "It's the highlight of my schedule". Lose

Stake 1.5pts Hoffman to beat Imada -111 @ Bet365
Hoffman's game has improved over the last few months and has won seven of the last eight h2h's against Imada despite Imada's solid recent form. Neither player has much previous course form to speak of but at least Imada has one decent finish here. But I would still make Hoffman a strong favourite given his recent form. Win
