Stake 3pts Donald to beat Allenby -105 @ Blue Sq Lose
Allenby did show a return to form last week but his form in majors is decidedly poor for a player of his ability. He has also only won two out of the ten h2h's with Donald this season despite being in such good form. Donald is as consistent in majors as he is in standard events and although he may well be disadvantaged by the length of this course he did win here back in the NCAA Championship here back in 1999.

Stake 3pts Weir to beat Clark -120 @ Boyle Sports Lose
Weir's game looks good at the moment and despite not being overtly long off the tee he has performed well on long courses. He has a decent record in majors, significantly better than Clark, and hold a decent h2h lead over Clark.

Stake 3pts Furyk to beat Z Johnson -115 @ InterTops Lose
Furyk has been striking the ball well of late, just not scoring that great. But this demanding course should be more to his liking. He has a good record in majors and holds a significant h2h advantage over Johnson.

Stake 5pts Mickelson to beat Harrington -110 @ Expekt, BetFred, Ladbrokes, BlueSq Lose
Harrington eventually hit some form last week after a dreadful time of it this season but I am reluctant to base a return to his old form on just one event. And even a return to his best form would still these odds as quite favourable. Mickelson was very inconsistent last week after returning from an extended break. But last week will have sharpened up his game and he can go close this week.

Stake 4pts Howell to beat Pettersson -110 @ Unibet Lose
Neither player is that consistent but I can't fathom the reasoning for these odds. In '99 Howell finished 5th here behind Donald, his recent stats are pretty good and quite frankly Pettersson should be a big outsider here if Howell performs anywhere near usual form.

Stake 3pts Jiminez to beat O Wilson -120 @ William Hill Lose
In a standard European Tour event these odds would be logical. But Jiminez has a really good record in majors, is in great form at the moment and Wilson has yet to show much from on the PGA Tour.

Stake 3pts Rose to beat Love +100 @ Stan James Tie
Those last three performances by Rose have been very impressive indeed. After a return to form at the AT&T he performed with great credit in The Ipen Championship and last week he finished a highly creditable 29th place despite being in 75th place after the opening round. He has a very good record in majors and if he retains that level of form he should add to his 15-9 3-year h2h lead over Love.

Stake 3pts Sim to beat J Singh -110 @ FiveDimes Win
The last few months have been very disappointing for Singh outside of a couple of good finishes on the European Tour. And is record on the PGA Tour is largely disappointing apart from a 9th place finish in this event last year. Despite missing the cut last week Sim has been in top form this season, he has some superb stats to his name and a great looking swing. I can't have Singh as the favourite here.

Stake 5pts Woods to beat Westwood -250 @ William Hill Win
I was looking to oppose Westwood this week as he just seems to struggle that bit when expectations are high. Okay the odds are very short here but apart from The Open when Tiger missed the cut the last time Westwood beat Tiger was in The Bay Hill Invitational, March 2006. Woods should be around the -400 to -450 mark here.
