With Tiger seemingly in strong form many of the other 'name' players look opposable at the prices.
Will also have the usual stab at some outsiders and hope that even if they look unlikely winners they may provide an opportunity to trade out for a profit at some stage.
Of the three main backs (Kaymer, Hansen and Schwartzel) all 3 have played and made the cut in at least one previous US Open, and with length off the tee seemingly a positive factor on this course none could exactly be described as short. Kaymer and Schwartzel are both very talented and likely to make an impact in the majors at some stage in their careers, when they do the one thing you can be sure of is they won't be going off at odds like these. Hansen doesn't win as often as he should but he is sneaky long and has the all around game that just might see him surprise here.

Update after round 3:

BACK Retief Goosen to win 12pts @40  (i.e. stake 0.31pts)
BACK Phil Mickelson to win 12pts @8  (i.e. stake 1.71pts)

position now:
The Field: -3.38
Retief Goosen: -6.35
Phil Mickelson: -5.38
Peter Hanson: 96.75
Soren Hansen: 197.19

There is a slight chance Hansen or Hanson could get involved if the front two both come back to the pack so will put up some hedging lays.

LAY Soren Hansen to lose 25pts @2  (i.e. stake 25pts) -- unmatched
