Stake 4.44 pts Stephen Ames -111 over Zach Johnson (expekt) Ames has finished in the top four in three of the past six years. Obviously this course suits his game very well. Also Ames is on the verge of putting four good rounds together. He played well at verizon and had one poor round in his last outing at the Players. Meanwhile Zach track record at Colonial decent but his form this year is quite poor. Coming off of a MC at the Texas Open after an opening round of 80. Also Zach has yet to record a top 10 this season. Fancy a good finish from Ames and something in the middle for Zach. Stake 3 pts Brian Gay +110 over KJ Choi (expekt) Don't quite understand the hype around Choi this week. His stats at Colonial aren't that good, including a MC in his last start. Since the masters he has been averagle. Meanwhile this course is tailor made for a guy like Gay who has a runner up finish and couple of top 10's. Gay aslo coming off of a brilliant final round last week, ending up t2.
Stake 2pts Rickie Fowler +119 over Jason Day (pinnacle) perfect scenario to fade the recent winner Day. Obviously Day is good but he was all over the place last week but managed a win in a poor field. The hangover will be with him this week after his maiden win and Fowler is more of a traditional style player, which colonial rewards. Stake 2.2 pts Snedeker -110 over Boo Weekley (extrabet) Sneds coming off a nice qualifier for the British Open over an ailing Boo Weekley |
